USPSA Class - Jan 3/4 - Pima
Service Description
Christian Sailer will be instructing his 2-day USPSA course to 10 students + class host on January 3rd and 4th. Class start time is 9AM until 3PM each day with a short lunch break around noon. Christian will pass along his training system and repertoire of techniques over 2 days of comprehensive skill development. The first day will primarily focus on the fundamentals of shooting a handgun with maximum speed and accuracy. Fundamentals of pistol marksmanship will be examined, tested, and grown over a series of drills and technique refinement steps. The first step of this is physical shooting fundamentals. This includes stance, body positioning, grip, trigger control, and a few other important elements. Once the first phase of pistol development is completed, the next step is developing mental/visual pistol fundamentals. This phase is all about shooting at the speed that the sights allow, and reacting to the stimulus that the pistol gives us to make decisions. This includes skills like execution of the fundamentals, shooting at sight’s pace, and calling shots. Once both phases of single target engagements are completed, the execution of arrays will begin. This will focus on the mechanism for transitioning the gun, how we engage each target, and the sub goals of engaging various arrays. We'll then move into movement. Christian will teach various movement techniques and moves that have helped many students shave real time off their score without shooting faster, but rather applying the techniques learned. On the last day we will review and continue to develop/expand upon the concepts and techniques used on day 1, however shift the focus towards stage execution. We will set up a few mini courses of fire to use walkthrough/visualization techniques as well as apply some of the shooting/movement techniques as well. More information of topics covered can be found in the class information tab as well as more information on Christian in the bio tab. Christian will give you all the tools and knowledge to succeed at a high level in USPSA. This class is the complete package for success in this game. I'm incredibly excited to share this information with you and help you reach your goals!
